Our process
—
1. Consultation: I will describe Maison Interiors and how the design process works, get to know more about your project and how we can potentially work together.
2. In-Person Meeting: Complimentary 45-minute in-person consultation. This is important in getting to know each other, understand your lifestyle and viewing your space.
3. Agreement: Our first formal meeting is where I fully understand your style and take all necessary measurements. We will also construct the scope of work and review your budget. We walk through the Design Service Agreement that will be signed by you and the Designer. Next steps will be established.
4. Designer Gets to Work: Once all of the necessary information is exchanged and we have a definite direction; drawings, floor plans, schemes and design process are underway. Depending on the scope of work this process could take up to 2 weeks.
5. Designer’s Presentation: This meeting is where the fun begins! I will present and explain my ideas for your project and a full scope plan for designing the space. This includes specifying materials and furnishings, samples and schemes. You can then give feedback on aspects you liked and determine if there are things that will need further work or alternate selections which may need to be specified. Depending on the scope of the project, we will have multiple meetings throughout this stage.
6. Quote/Proposals: I will gather the final details, information and pricing on the selections and/or outside trades people (as needed). You will then review the proposal, sign off and a deposit will be made for the selections.
7. Order processing: Items and materials are ordered and delivered to a receiver, or your residence (when necessary). If outside work is to be done, it will be put on the schedule.
8. Installation: Once all or most items are received, we will install furniture and selections.
9. Accessorizing: We will discuss finishing touches for your space to give it a cohesive and personalized look.
